Speed limit (45 km/h)

You must not drive faster than 45 km/h from this sign onward. The limit applies until an end-of-restriction sign or a new speed limit sign is shown. Note that speed limits in Thailand are often lower than foreigners expect on roads that appear to allow higher speeds.

Verified as Thai road sign บ.32-45 from Thai Department of Land Transport sign series on 2026-05-15.

Connect this sign to practice

Speed limit (45 km/h) is a "don't", and the Thai exam likes to probe the until-when part: where the prohibition lifts, what overrides it, and whether common driver workarounds are still legal. Practising it in context makes the answer obvious.

Now see it in questions.

Spotting Speed limit (45 km/h) in isolation is one thing. Recognising it inside a real exam-style question, among lookalikes and trick wording, is another. The diagnostic mixes it in for you.
